Montrose Dealerships Honor Soldiers & First Responders

The Montrose Auto Group hosted multiple events at Montrose dealerships on Sunday, September 11th to honor the brave men and women in uniform and to commemorate the 10 year anniversary of Patriot Day. 

The Copley Fire Department provided a ladder truck and raised the American Flag skyward during a ceremony held at Montrose Ford in Fairlawn.  The Patriot Day events at Montrose Ford coincided with a daylong gathering of the Northeastern Ohio Mustang Club’s Third Annual All-Mustang Car Show, benefitting Valor Home – a transitional housing facility for male veterans.

Montrose Mazda in Kent featured the Kent Fire Department and members of the Kent post of the American Legion.  Montrose Mazda Kent also welcomed the North Coast Miata Club as well as Freedom Motorsports, with food and beverages provided by Beef O’Bradys.

The Alliance Chamber of Commerce teamed with Montrose Ford-Lincoln, Huntington, and Miller & Company to jointly host events honoring the memory of those who have served our nation during a Day of Remembrance, beginning with a Walk of Honor at the University of Mount Union, a ceremonial flag raising held at Montrose Ford-Lincoln, and a “Ceremony to Remember” at Memorial Park in Alliance.  The day included a neighborhood cleanup and collection of needed items for the USO.
